From sketch to fine jewelry

I begin every ring design with a simple sketch to capture ideas of gem color and shape.Many design choices are necessary throughout the process of crafting a ring and multiple steps are required for the drawing to come to life: sourcing unique gemstones with the perfect color, shade, and karat; determining metal type; and, finalizing cut of the stones. In this case, I chose emerald, round, and marquise cut gems.

Once the essential design decisions have been made the piece is cast, cleaned, polished and the gemstones are set.
