Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) an American legacy in Art Nouveau, both artist and designer.
I always enjoy the collections displayed at the Metropolitan museum, New York Historical Society, Museum of the city of New York and the Morse Museum
And every time I attend an auction preview Christies and Sotheby's I can't wait to stare at the sparkling cases and get my hands on the most beautiful crafted pieces, admiring the flow between gemstones, enamel and precious metal.
L.C.T father, Charles Lewis Tiffany was one of the founders of Tiffany & Co. in 1837, and acknowledged as the most prominent jewelry company in North America at the turn of the century. Upon his fathers death in 1902, he took charge as Design Director.
